Sean Ellis

started taking pictures when he was 11. Trained as a still life photographer, Sean moved to London and applied his knowledge of the still life using it to light fashion models helped to make him one of the new generation of fashion photographers who were most sought-after in the late nineties.

Sean Ellis was Recently named as one of the top 10 photographers in the US as has worked with all the high end magazines such as Harper's Bazar, Japanese and American Vogue, Arena and i-D. Sean has worked with cultural icons such as Elton John, Kate Moss, Tim Burton and Alexander McQueen. Ben's art is that he imagines himself stopping time. This way, he can appreciate the artistic beauty of the frozen world and the people inside it.

Sean Ellis has released a book called 365: A year in fashion taking a photo every day of the last year of the millennium filled in the gaps between the big production shots he is known for, using his camera for behind-the-scenes perspectives, more informal studies of models and stars around him. 365 flicker-books the life of a fast-track image maker and shows his high-powered work while allowing un staged reality to leak into the portfolio.
