Mario Testino has become one of the world's most well known and celebrated fashion photographers. After finishing his studies in his home country, Peru, he then moved the London to pursue a career in photography. His works have been in many different magazines such as Vogue, Calvin Klein and Vanity Fair. He has had a multitude of successful displays in varies galleries and museums around the world. He has crafted and donated to the imagery of leading houses such as Burberry, Gucci and Calvin Klein. His style has often been described as "luxury realism", but he resists analysing too much and his photos are noted for their freshness and intimacy.
Mario's style has a way of portraying his models in a timeless and flawless way. After his photographs of the late Princes Diana in 1997, his reputation soared as he went into photographing actors like Cameron Diaz, Patrick Dempsey, Madonna and many more well-known people.
Today, Testino is involved with many different charities and organisations around the globe, some of which include the Elton John Aids Foundation and Sargent Cancer Care, and he continues to produce work that continues to be breath-taking and desirable.
